U1000 Industrial Matrix Drive is reported to be Yaskawa’s greenest drive ever due to low harmonic distortion and regeneration. U1000’s Matrix technology uses nine bidirectional switches arranged in a matrix to convert three-phase AC input voltage directly into three-phase AC output voltage, eliminating the need for rectifying and DC smoothing circuits. U1000 is available in 240-V class with 10-100 hp normal duty and 7.5-75 hp heavy duty, and 480-V class with 7.5-350 hp normal duty and 5-300 hp heavy duty.
