Modicon M580 Ethernet PAC (ePAC) uses open Ethernet standards and multi-core data processing to enable process efficiency and flexibility, while ensuring cybersecurity through Achilles Level 2 certification. M580 is tested according to Ethernet services and protocols, such as ARP, ICMP, TCP, IP and others. Its firmware integrity is checked at start-up, and compiled and stored in memory.
