Larry Evans and Pat Kennedy to Deliver Keynote Addresses at PAS Technology Conference

Top industry thought leaders scheduled to appear and discuss human reliability for the process and power industries

Houston, Texas, USA -March 8, 2013 -PAS, a Human Reliability software solutions provider, announced today that Larry Evans, founder and former CEO of AspenTech, Pat Kennedy, founder and CEO of OSIsoft, and Eddie Habibi, founder and CEO of PAS, will each deliver a keynote address at the 2013 PAS Technology Conference held at the Hilton Americas hotel in Houston, Texas. Evans and Habibi will be presenting on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 and Kennedy on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.

The conference will focus on Human Reliability - the technologies that help optimize human performance and deliver step change improvement in plant safety, reliability and profitability. Human reliability addresses the burgeoning challenges of information overload by aggregating and organizing data from disparate sources. PAS' Human Reliability solutions deliver clear, relevant and actionable information in context to plant personnel in order improve situation awareness and mitigate industrial incidents.

The PAS Technology Conference will bring PAS clients and partners from around the globe together with experts in optimizing automation assets, alarm management, high performance Human Machine Interface (HMI), knowledge retention and decision support, automation asset management, industrial cyber security, control loop performance optimization, and plant reliability. Larry Evans is the founder and former CEO of AspenTech. He was professor of chemical engineering at MIT from 1962-1990 where he led research in computer-aided process design and process control. In 1999 Fortune magazine named him one of seven US heroes of manufacturing.

Pat Kennedy is the CEO and founder of OSIsoft. Under his visionary leadership, the company has grown from a software startup to setting the industry standard in enterprise infrastructure for management of real-time data and events. Eddie Habibi is the CEO and founder of PAS.
