As you may know, supplies of DeltaV systems from Emerson Process Management were badly disrupted by the severe flooding in Thailand last year. There were reports of up to 1 year’s wait for certain DeltaV parts sourced in that area. Now there's some good news. The following was posted by David Imming, VP of Marketing at Emerson on the Automation and Control Engineering discussion group on LinkedIn."DeltaV lead times are back to standard delivery. DeltaV shipments were temporarily impacted by a devastating flood in Thailand in the fall of 2011. Emerson’s manufacturing team has worked to resolve this supply chain disruption. If you have any questions regarding specific lead times of DeltaV equipment, please contact your local Emerson sales office."This is certainly good news for both Emerson and its customers.
