Monday October 19th, the kick-off meeting of ISAS67.16 Working Group 5, Nuclear Plant Cyber Security was held. The intent of the working group is to identify and coordinate with other groups working on control system cyber security and developing standards and recommended practices for nuclear power facilities. NRC, the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), INPO, a nuclear plant supplier, several nuclear utilities, nuclear plant consultants, and IT security personnel attended. Anyone interested in participating should let Tim Hurst ([email protected]) or me ([email protected]) know. The scope and purpose of S99 are being sent to interested parties to mark up for application to the new working group.
