Schneider Electric announces the addition of the Telemecanique brand Modicon M340â„¢ programmable automation controller (PAC), the newest addition to its Modicon line of programmable controllers. The Modicon M340 PAC offers real-time logic solving, communication, motion, and database and manipulation capabilities in multiple programming environments.
After shutting down the Modicon name entirely two years ago, and even shutting down www.modicon.com, it is refreshing to see that Schneider has learned something about the residual value of a brand.
