They turned out the lights to show the obligatory marketing video...the space shuttle took off, revealing Mark Taft, who is acting as MC for the event, covering the emergency instructions foe surviving ABB Automation World. Taft gave the obligatory ecomium for Houston. Pointing out that Houston is the largest automation market in the world, Taft noted that there were a lot of locals in the 2500 attendees from over 40 countries.
Over 40,000 square feet of exhibits from ABB and partners, and 50% more customer-led sessions than last year coupled with three days of hands-on training... No wonder the User Groups are killing the ISA show and Manufacturing Week.
