The Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) announced April 16 the winners of its 2021 awards. The recipients included:
- Joe Martin, president of Martin CSI, a CSIA-certified member in Plain City, Ohio, won the Charlie Bergman "Remember Me" award, which recognizes individuals who actively participate in association activities, publish articles in industry publications, and serve in CSIA leadership roles. By giving their time, talents and leadership to the association, “Remember Me” winners exemplify Bergman's well-known philosophy of sharing.
- Omnicon S.A., a CSIA-certified member in Cali, Colombia, won the 2021 Integrator Member of the Year Award, which recognizes a system integrator member's participation in advancing the association and profession.
- Aveva Software LLC, Lake Forest, Calif., won the 2021 Partner Member of the Year Award, which recognizes a partner member that has advanced the association and profession.
- Jeff Winter, senior director of strategic initiatives at Grantek Systems Integration, a CSIA-certified member Burlington, Ontario, Canada, won the 2021 Rising Star Award, which recognizes relatively new members in the field, who have demonstrated the attributes of a future leader, innovative approaches and commitment to the industry.
- Hallam-ICS of South Burlington, Vt., won the 2021 Social Responsibility Award, which recognizes a member that has achieved extraordinary results in corporate social responsibility and sustainability programs.
