The acquisition will strengthen automation, engineering system integration capabilities

Galco Industrial Electronics Inc. reported Feb. 27 that it’s purchased Brozelco Inc., a 30-year-old, Tennessee-based provider of industrial-automation solutions, specializing in engineering, system integration, fabrication and contracting. This acquisition expands Galco’s capabilities in industrial automation, particularly in custom control solutions, turnkey electrical projects and hazardous location-certified system integration.

"Acquiring Brozelco enhances our ability to deliver comprehensive industrial automation, system integration, and engineering services to customers across key industries," says Allison Sabia, president and CEO of Galco. "Their expertise in utility switchyard refurbishment, rock quarry automation and specialty mining products provides Galco with opportunities for expansion and growth in these industry verticals.”

Brozelco will continue operating under its established name, maintaining its commitment to longstanding customer and supplier relationships, while leveraging Galco’s distribution network, e-commerce capabilities, repair services and engineering expertise.

"Brozelco has built a reputation for delivering high-quality automation solutions, system integration and field services that keep industrial operations running smoothly,” adds David Brozenick, founder and president of Brozelco. “Joining Galco strengthens our ability to serve customers with even more robust technical solutions, while continuing to operate with the same trusted relationships we’ve built over the years."
