The dodgy economy is keeping a lid on raises. Eighty-one percent of those surveyed said their raises were between 0 and $4,000 this year. Another 10% reported raises between $5,000 and $7,000, and a meager 8.6% got anything more than that. This compares to 2009, when 54% got a raise between $2,000 and $4,000—9% points more than this year, and 16% got a raise between $5,000 and $7,000. Seventy percent of those surveyed this year say they don't get any overtime.
