CL-10 G Series level detectors provide accurate, consistent results for extremely lightweight or fluffy products or other bulk solids that tend to pack or bridge easily. They handle precipitated, fine, lightweight chemical powders with bulk densities as low as 1 pound per cubic foot (lb/ft3). They manage foods such as 12X milled products to silk sugar, as well as heavier bulk solids in the 10-15 lbs/ft3 density range.
CL-10 G provides accurate high-, mid- or low-point level detection in dusty environments and in vessels with vibrators. Constructed for a long operating life, they have no moving parts, gaskets or seals to deteriorate, and are virtually wear-free.
CL-10 G is also factory calibrated with no adjustments necessary. Installation is simple; the level switch mounts through a ¾-inch half-coupling at the point of desired level detection on hoppers, silos or bins. Specialized units handle temperatures exceeding 300 °F. They’re also approved for Class I, Group D; Class II, Groups E, F & G; and Class III services
