HL-750 series of intrinsically safe, hazardous-location, linear variable differential transformer (LVDT), position sensors monitor valve positions in harsh, hazardous chemical-plant environments, and provide accurate displacement feedback to determine if valves are properly open, closed, leaking, or even if they’ve failed.
Certified for use in Class 1, Zone 0, Zone 1 and Zone 2 locations, these AC-operated position sensors operate safely and accurately in hazardous locations with flammable or ignitable liquids and gases. Stainless-steel construction and a ¾-in., hermetic seal make HL-750 robust enough to operate reliably in hazardous and explosive environments. They’re also Intertek-approved and hold an ETL mark that certifies them for use in hazardous locations throughout North America.
