ST100 air/gas thermal flowmeter's fast-response direct mass flow sensor offers close ratio control of natural gas and air feeds to support turbine safety and improve efficiency. The flowmeter meets 1 Tau within 1 second for close ratio control in combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) applications. Standard turndown is 100:1 with 1,000:1 turndown optional. An in-line design covers line sizes from 0.75 to 2 in. and flow rates from 0.01 to 3,000 kg/hr. An insertion style handles lines from 3 in. to 6,000 mm for flow rates from 1 to 1 million kg/hr. Both are rated SIL 1 and meet FM, FMc, IECEx, ATEX, Inmetro, EAC, NEPSI and CPA.
