Type 8188 level measurement device with cable, rod, interchangeable probe or with coax probe, is designed for continuous level measurement, and is suitable for liquids in all process industries. With a measuring range up to 75 meters, Type 8188 is best suited for tall vessels. Process conditions such as strong steam generation, density fluctuations, changes of the dielectric constant, or build-up or condensation on the probe or vessel wall don't influence its accuracy. A liquid interface measurement, typically oil or water, is also possible with Type 8188, and it's insensitive to dust and steam. It also uses 4-20 mA and HART networking via two wires, and carries ATEX/IECEx approvals.
