Non-contact displacement sensors achieve RMS resolution down to 1 micron

Advanced Magnetic Sensing (AMS) non-contact displacement sensors are designed for materials research and development, and engineered to deliver high precision with root mean square (RMS) resolution down to 1 micron.

While their DIN rail configuration allows easy integration into laboratory setups and research equipment, these sensors can also be customized for OEM requirements, and adapted for research apparatus or experimental setups.

AMS sensors are IP-67 rated and available with hermetic options. They’re offered in standard configurations, including threaded, flanged, AS4320 pressure port compatible, and bolt head styles, and can be tailored to semi-custom and custom OEM integration needs.
