Self-configuring I/O modules are flexible, cost-effective, and have detailed diagnostics. They’re equipped with four, eight or 16 digital signals, each of which can be used as input or output. These I/O modules also simplify planning and spare parts management because many different applications can be implemented with the same module. Various connection types are available, including ASi/Aux via profile cable, M12 connector or push-in terminal, depending on the module used.
