SandCat five-port Ethernet switch complements managed switches, performs at 100 Mbps, and meets increasing network complexity, reliability and bandwidth demands. It’s a low-cost option for networking multiple end-devices, and has a fiber-optic port for communicating over longer distances. SandCat extends the port count of managed switches, enabling installation of more components. It also lets a central device create a physical topology for optimal redundancy and remote access, or it can act as a simple switch. SandCat can be DIN-rail mounted in harsh settings, allowing connections between drives, inverters, HMIs, PLCs and I/O units. It also meets EMC, isolation, vibration and shock standards. SandCat has an IP30-grade metal housing, -40 °C to 75 °C temperature range, wide power-input range, small form-factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver options, and many industry approvals and certifications.
