As part of the overall Sysmac solution, Soft NA allows the full functionality of Omron’s NA5 human machine interface (HMI) on an industrial PC (IPC), which can also run enterprise resource planning (ERP), manufacturing execution system (MES) or other software. Soft NA can replace a separate IPC and HMI when HMI machine control and computer power are both needed. It’s also supported by Omron’s NY IPC line, which is designed for the factory floor and hosts a variety of software.
