This article evaluates the capabilities of piezoelectric and MEMS sensors in identifying frequencies associated with bearing fault failure. Graphical illustrations guide readers through the stages of bearing fault progression, pinpointing when each sensor type begins to recognize irregularities that signify the need for intervention.
