BinMaster launching ultrasonic sensor line after buying Senix

Nov. 27, 2024
BinMaster will provide ToughSonic sensors in general-purpose and chemical-resistant models

Following its recent acquisition of Senix Corp.BinMaster reported Oct. 24 that it will manufacture and market its own line of compact, ultrasonic distance and liquid-level sensors. The 30-year-old, former Senis Ultrasonics line of ToughSonic TS-100 and TS-200 non-contact ultrasonic sensors will be offered in general-purpose and chemical-resistant models suitable for measuring distances up to 50 feet.

These ultrasonic sensors are useful for tank-level measurement, remote monitoring, distance ranging, object detection and agricultural applications. They’re also implemented for irrigation, flood, tsunami and sea-level monitoring. ToughSonic sensors are used to detect the presence of objects or perform distance ranging for conveyor load profiling. They’ve also been used in academia for research and by municipal utilities for water and sewer monitoring.

“BinMaster customers will benefit from having all of their liquid and solids inventory visible with one login to BinCloud software,” explained Scott Hudson EVP at BinMaster. “These compact sensors will integrate seamlessly into our real-time inventory and level monitoring systems.”
